PREMIUM RUM FROM THE FRENCH CARIBBEAN AND LA REUNION

The Caribbean islands have been the cradle of rum since the 18th century. There are many cocktails made from rum. We distinguish on the one hand  the "rums" of British tradition, mainly made from molasses or fresh cane juice having undergone a double distillation, on the other hand the "rums" of the French West Indies, type eaux-de-vie produced from cane juice fresh, giving a very aromatic product with the typical flavors of sugar cane.

This spirit is often associated with exoticism, summer and holidays. The rums can then have extremely different aromas and flavors. Their quality depends essentially on the type of cane used, the fermentation process of the cane juice, the precision of the distillation, and finally its maturation and aging.
